All users should now see the SDK in their tools list. If clients are downloading too slow they might time out the connection. There is a command I'll get up tomorrow that will allow users to change that time out time.

I just tried putting one of the official maps up on my redirect server then deleted it from my local game folder.
Did it with Barracks thinking it was a small map - some 140mb in files !
Renamed the files to:
SND_Barracks.upk
FX_Barracks.upk
ART_Barracks.upk
TE-Barracks.upk
Didn't work for me.

game stopped working.

I provided my dmp files and my crashes have not been fixed. I can only play spartanovka, apartments and grainelevator without crashing. I feel scammed.

If you're having trouble seeing the RO2 sdk under tools on steam, start RO2 and close it. It should appear

(re: SDK) k, had to shutdown Steam and restart and it's there now.... downloading.
Perhaps now I might continue work on my Karlovka 2 Map.

I wouldn't count on it. TWI has made it pretty clear they are against Ping Compensation.
The "high ping bug" seems to be overloaded servers. That means getting server admins to lower the maximum number of players to what their server boxes can handle. Unless TWI does some amazing optimizations to the server code.

So now that all you people have creamed over this SDK does that mean TWI will no longer support their game? I'd rather much pay for TWI official content and see what they do.

I don't think you have to worry about that. We will hopefully be recieving the best of both worlds soon - modded content and official free Tripwire added content.
EDIT: Just another note, but it is to my understanding that Tripwire NEVER is done with a game until well after it's release date. No one abandons their kiddies. And RO2 is a big fat baby about to see some extra codling
