Every FPS has in game stats Kill/Deaths. Why there is none in RO2? It would really be nice if that was added.

And for two, K/D is often necessary to see (combined with other info) just how effective you are as a player. Don't forget that a large part of RO is the respawn ticket system, and the more kills you get while staying alive is helping the team as much as capping points.
Of course, stark contrasts in either teamwork score or K/D will show you how ineffective a player is, too.

And, the more deaths someone gets on your team would indicate that they are a liability/don't know how to play/not a team player.
I swear I've seen teammates on Soviet Apartments die 30-40 times like lemmings with no kills and no team points.

I'd assume a good number of the high/max rank, high/max weapon level players have had at least some padding. Either that or they've taken advantage of a ranking bug.
So much for Tripwire wanting RO2's ranking to take months.
Exactly! If a player is worried about killing they are doing nothing to help their team cap or defend zones.
Capzones are all that matters and killing is the side effect of taking or holding them.
