[Error] Mouse Can't Click Anything In Game

When I fired up the game today after the patch I was unable to select any menu item with my mouse. The items highlight as I move my mouse over them but can not select anything. When I join a game off of a friend through steam my mouse can not select the continue button to get off the welcome screen. It is registering my mouse movements just not the clicks.

Any suggestions? I have tried restarting and verifying cache.

I tried everything I could think to get it work with no success. I am now doing a complete reinstall which sucks cause I have a slow Internet connection so it will take me about 12 hours to redownload it. I will let you know in the morning if the reinstall worked. I have my fingers crossed!!
