I agree. Senior Rifleman sounds alot better and more accurate.
Just to throw some thoughts into the mix:
Despite what people may think, regular soldiers (ie privates) in the red army were NOT issued the SVT 38/40 & AVT40. Only the NCOs and maybe in some rare cases a corporal was issued a semi automatic rifle. The general thought is that the NCOs were disciplined enough and cared enough to keep their rifles clean and in working order.
So if "Elite rifleman" is renamed to "Senior Rifleman" and the "Senior Rifleman" class is issued a SVT or AVT, this would be historically accurate. Keep in mind after a few months, the red army FORBID the firing of the AVT-40 in full auto mode and was STRICTLY forbidden...this ultimately led to the complete stop of manufacturing AVT40s.
