What do you want to see in the next content patch?

Hi i justed wanted to express my ideas on what i would like to see in a future content patch, feel free to post any of your own ideas, and pass judgement on my ideas and those of other.

1. the perks system is all well and good, and im sure by now an upheaval of the system would cause a minor disater, but hear me out. I feel that the perk system should be far more flexible. there should be familys of perks, ie firebug ect. and within those groups are individual perks, like 20% extra flamethrower damage, or "fireproof". so far this sounds familiar, but heres the catch, you have a loadout screen and you can select any 3 of these perks, 2 ability perks and 1 discount perk this would allow for far greater custimisation, and more effectve team play.
here is an example:
loadout:
perk 1- Lv3 Fireproof (20% less damage from own flames)
perk 2- Lv1 steady aim (5% less recoil on all weapons)
Perk 3- 20% off all shotguns

these individual perks would have their own levels so that they can be improved, i.e. leveling up "steady aim" would require a certain number of headshots, and " fireproof" would be level up according to how much damage you have taken from being set ablaze and lived.

this system would be far more flexible, as people can mix and match perks to get the best effect. this would also lend itself well to content patchs, as new perks, a new class of perks, and higher levels for perks, can be thrown in rather easily.

2. i am all for charecter customisation, i feel that a single base model should be provided for all fresh players and that adornments like bandaliers, gas masks, helmets, player models, and decrotative ornaments should be unlocked through the acheivement, or advancement of inidividual perks, and steam acheivements.
2 example:
acheive "homers heroes"-be rewarded with a decorative pair of yellow ear protecters.
acheive Lv5 "fireproof" perk-be rewarded with a fireman skin.

3. and finnaly i would like to see extra gamemodes:
"outpost defence": you and your team must protect a public building, like a rescue station, helipad, or the houses of parliament, there will be a building or area with several barricaded doors, each door has a set amount of "health" (similair to welded doors) that cannot be replenished, and you and your team must stop the specemins from breaking into the protected building/area.
"rescue mission": there are two posibilitys here, either a group of AI hostages (similair to those on CS:S) must be taken from a dangerous loaction swarming with specemins and be taken to a secure evacuation point, once at the evacuation point waves of zombies will come and you must protect the hostages from being killed, whilst you wait for the transport to arrive. the second option of course, is that there is 1 human controlled evacuee who may be armed with a mellee weapon, or nothing at all and the sqaud must do the same as stated above, except with 1 human cahrecter rather than multiple AI charecters.

4. i would like to see more weapons, maybe uzi's, minigun, mines, MP5, M1 garand ect
and some more official maps

these are all the things i would like to see in the upcoming content patches. of course the first 3 suggestions are very big feats to acheive but i feel if they were to be implemented they would make the game an aweful lot better, and boost player number significantly.
 
Replacing the crossbow with the more plausible bolt-action rifle. It's not difficult to find a major military power that utilizes bolt-action sniper rifles. Most of them do...

Fixing the Commando leveling process. Thus far its almost impossible to level, meaning dedicated commandos are going to be far behind unless they utilize weapons outside their perk.

Funny how he put semi-auto and bolt in the same sentence...

I mean, you could argue technically -all- weapons fire with a bolt, and that is where the action is happening...

That kind of makes talking about guns a sort of porno-esque topic. "Checkin' out some of that bolt action, mhmm..."

Jeah amazing ideas, but sounds familiar somehow...
Perhaps because you just copy-pasted your answer on my thread about "Rescue Mission" and "Customizing"-Stuff to open a new one, in order to tout somebody else's ideas as yours.

A couple of little things:
1) Some sort of Specimen RADAR. It can be very low res and vague if need be. I hate it when it takes forever to find something to shoot. Not active for Patriarch. Maybe it could kick in n seconds after the last player kill. Could be an arrow like the trader's.

2) I'd like to know if it was me who kicked off some zed time.

3) Who put the coup de grace on the Patriarch.

4) [Votable?] skip countdown till next wave. I hate waiting.

5) Recordable barks bindable to keys, extending the current set. Basically a "play this audio file over some channel." Could limit the size or length.
