Or just use the semi - it's good in every situation.

"1. Stay Alive at all costs. You are a mobile spawn point."

That is very important I think. I capped lots of points spawning on my SL. It helps keeping the pressure on a cappoint. The seconds you win by not having to run from spawnpoint to cappoint really does matter. So yes, I encourage every SL to act as a mobile spawn !

a good ppsh user will beat a good semi user in almost any CQB situation.

That's why you order your assault team in first.

My point is it's a great all-purpose weapon instead of having to carry two around. You can still do very well in CQB with a semi auto, especially if it has a bayonet. You just don't try to take on an enemy SMG on equal terms - you get yourself just inside the capzone and take cover somewhere you can cover a door or a choke point and kill any enemy who come through.

Here's where I think you're both wrong. I remember on RO1, and it's still mostly true in RO2 - If you're good with a rifle, and you don't let SMGs catch you by surprise, then you usually win. He may have 900rpm, but it only takes one shot.

you're ignoring why ro is better than other games. accurate depiction of suppression. good SMG users will prefire to jerk your aim around.

SMGs are even better in RO2 since you can wallbang much better with a SMG than a rifle.

Agressive. I am throwing smoke and usually one of the first to get into position by using its cover. I miss two smoke grenades instead of one, because often I find myself lacking this one throw to attack more efficiently.
