[Question] failed to find default engine.ini ????

Got the same error!
FFS i am so fed up with gaming industry!
Why, just why is each game release in the past 18month so ****e?
Really fed up of being a paying beta tester.

So devs plz give us a workaround for that error.

Unhappy for paying the game.
Cant recommend for others tha ask me from my clan.
Unbelievable....

If you read the ELUA you never bought the game. Take a read :). And most pc games are like this, you just have to give it time! Trust me, once its fully playable you will be happy!

We know the cause of this issue now! And we are fixing it!

You have your steam set to a language that we do not have localization for. Steam is then supposed to default you to the English-International version, and then downloads it. For some reason, that system isn't working...so you get some borked files.

Should be fixed in the quickest manner possible! (ie hours)

I guess you are using the international (Germany, Poland, Russia ...) version of the game?

They messed something up with the localised files.

Solution:
Go to your steam library -> RO2 -> right mouse click -> properties -> language and set it to "english".
It will download ~2,6gb. Now your game is in english, but you can play it.
(worked for me)
