Default KF + Multiple Monitors

Does anyone here play KF on multiple monitors? I have 3 at a resolution of 5760x1200 and playing KF is pretty terrible. Things just don't span correctly and the HUD is horrible.

It would be great if someone had a fix or a way to just make KF show up on my main monitor.

This is from the Widescreen gaming forum, I cant wait to buy my new 3 screen gaming rig in April =D Good luck!, post some screenies if it works pls!! :P

You will also need to change ScaleHUDX=0.000000 to a new value to adjust the HUD.
I found ScaleHUDX=0.333333 fitted my HUD to the centre screen, however it distorts the weapons and timer so I am using ScaleHUDX=0.666666 which uses all 3 screens but weapons display perfectly. This fits quite well with only your weight info being slighly cropped at the bottom of the screen but still readable.

Thanks, I actually did see that floating around on the net. I wish I knew where they got those numbers, unless it's just guess and check.

You'll have to scroll, but here's an idea of what those two HUD values look like.
Here is 0.333333:

Here is 0.666666:

You'll notice that at .3 the hands and weapons are distorted, and .6 they are completely missing. The actual HUD does not change and is equally terrible.

does changing the field of vision help?

in console type "fov 100" or some other numbers to test.

Thanks for your suggestion, but unfortunately it does not. It does change the FOV but doesn't allow me to see the HUD any differently.

Here's the threads i've been looking through,

Possibly you could alter the HUD textures to compensate for the skew, but im not sure if that would put you out of sync with a server and cause you to redownload the unedited UTX file or just have a file mismatch error.

Oh well, I guess I'll just disable the two other monitors when I play KF since Tripwire doesn't support it.
