Default Pro Trolling Tactic

Heres a stratergy that borders on cheating (and probably goes past it. On the russian side on Fallen Fathers, spawn with a ppsh. Stick to the right untill you reach the red building in the corner. Then crouch sprint using the walls and bags for cover untill you reach the german base building with the windows almost blocked with sandbags. Kill anyone inside and proceed p the stairs untill you reach the top remebering to check behind you when you reach the top.

Go in to the main german base bulding (the famous one). Kill anyone you want to as stealthily as possible.

By this stage youve probably killed a sniper, grab his weapon (although any rifle wil do) and go to the balcony to the right. Lay down and kill the advancing germans from behind (go for one shot one kills as much as possible so they dont know whats going on). They wont have a clue whats going on as they dont bother checking their own base for enemy snipers. Good luck trolling, (and coming first in kills!)

(Alright so it might not be trolling but it is ungentlemanly and downright annoying to the other team)

Yes, if the enemy is totally incompetent and allows you to roam around his backfield, this will work. They deserve it. It is, however, not trolling nor is it a tactic.

The point around this though is to cause minimum disturbance so the enimie will have no idea your even in this base though. If you can pull that off it is highly effective as no one checks the balconey and if you get them in one shot they one even know your theyre.

I think this will only work in this early phase of the game. Very soon players will know the map better and they would never in a million years let you get that far.

I do this, esp as a squad leader. So long as the SL stays alive you can get reinforcements spawning in the very same building. I even shame-facedly spawn raped an axis soldier. Because it's their building, the axis just won't think of checking it, and then clearing it out. But, if the axis can hold their left flank good, they remain safe from this.

Despite this advantage for the Allies, the Axis can't replicate this on their right flank. They will only meet a junction that is wide and uncovered. After that they must run head-on into allies' spawn, or take the hard route down the right of the junction, where they will meet the enemy coming out of their spawn headon, and be unprotected from the rear.

Correct, not the kill-cam but the kill location.

This guy explained what i ment better, axis spawn slightly further on and to the left of the balconey so they never come into contact with it, and gunshots are assumed to be an enemy sniper, and even the gun sounds are german because your using the scoped kar. The only time I ever died with this tactic was being shot by my own team thinking I was an enemy sniper

P.S (Its probably not trolling but its very ungentlemanly)

Isn't this just called Flanking?

Doesn't sound like a "Troll Tactic" at all.

Could have been me xD I shot one of my team when he was on the balconey. I killed one guy several times at that lokation so whe I saw something move up there I just fired^^

Its flanking up to the point where he camps with a sniper in the middle of the enemy.

Happens far too often - to take part in this discussion as german player. The problem ist that most german players are just rushing to the front like dumb****s - that's why you'll mostly find me in the spots, picking off the idiots passing by and trying to reach 'our' building. Pretty efficient.

On the other side, as said, we can't copy such a tactic. We can't nearly get into your building (not that I haven't been able to move over the flank into your building!), but most parts of it are part of your 'protected' spawn area. We can't even disturb you near your spawn, like you can do with us, as long as we haven't capped almost every objective.

Just tell your team that you're up there. Someone did this. I was Sniper and covered him from the other side of the Map. He didn't die until he ran out of Bullets and looked for a new weapon.

So your "Professional Trolling" tactic is to flank the enemy?

Really?

Do this in an active cap zone - NOW you're playing Red Orchestra....

In ww2, german snipers hide in trees and let enemy soldiers pass underneath them and tried to shot officers and like in the back.

It's fairly shoddy behaviour, especially if one team can do it and the other team cant.

Players should never be able to interact with the play space from within the protected confines of a spawn protection volume. That said, the capability of opposing teams to occupy the buildings is a result marksmen/machine gunners raining death from above and not being able to go get them. The Technical School can be occupied as well as the Univermag.

It may seem counter intuitive to allow the headquarters to get occupied but it works under the best of conditions and only gets annoying in the worst of the conditions.
