Default Lean Bug (causing missed shots?)

I just noticed this while playing, came here and saw something similar mentioned in another thread but figured it should have its own with some more explanation. Haven't seen it elsewhere, if its known then sorry

If you go to crouch and lean to the side then fire, the first shot will go where your crosshair would be if you weren't leaning. The following shots are fine. In the image I shot at the crosshair but got the mark on left (square)

I've definitely experienced this while leaning around a window on Barracks, the bullet would always hit the frame and not where I was actually pointing with the iron sights.

So this happens to everyone? I only tried leaning one way and with a bolt. Dunno if it really stops the bullet going where it should or just graphical

my bullets go straight when im aiming down sight and leaning, you seem to have been affected by explosions that sway your gun when they hit around you or something. This happened to me in the first version of the DDE build but the big patch they added fixed it for me. If not, then idk. This problem never happens to me.

Try it in a position where you will clearly see the bullet marks. I've only tested with the bolts so far, will have a go with semi's later. It doesn't affect all bullets but at the least first shot should be like you didn't lean. I've tested with the Mosin Nagant and that can be bugged for the first 3 shots, and it doesn't just happen when crouched like I originally thought:

It could be worth seeing if the shots actually miss players rather than just a graphical issue

They do miss. I died so many times when I lean around a corner and shoot, just to see I'm hitting the wall and not the dude I'm aiming at.
