The famous model bug

On servers wich have auto balance feature , when you get teamswitched for balancing teams , you still having the model of the class you selected in the opposite team . So that with a little of organisation a whole russians team can have german's model !
Its such fun !

Are you talking about the built in autobalance, or some custom mutator? We never saw this in testing in thousands of games. Bit more info please.

This only happens to me on a server join.
I had no weapon and I looked to my team mates like an enemy solider.
They killed me and got a minus score for this. This happened to me until now two times. After the second kill I spawned with the model I selected.
I also saw an other player spawning as an enemy near me. He also had no weapon. Killing him got me also a minus score. He also appears two times after another as an enemy.

I too have suffered this - choose a class with one side then spawn on the other minus weapons. I have also seen enemy 'uniforms' in spawn sites with no weapons - at first i thought it must be a prisoner of war mod!

If you are in trouble press surrender und drop all weapons. You automatically follow the nearest enemy until he died or he puts you in a prison or he gives you over to another player. The prison should be able to be opened by enemies so you can regain your weapon. While you are a prisoner the enemies would get minus points for killing you!

He is talking about the Player Skin/Model when you get auto-switched, meaning you get switched from GER to RUS but still appear as GER for example.

Americas Army has that as well occasionally, where you see people running around as op4 even though they're on your team. Very old bug but usually when next round starts (AA:SF) it's gone and all is good.

I only encountered this bug on a server join!
