Listen Server Working Fine Yesterday, Now "Not Responding"

I have been running a listen server and my brother normally joins me. We have been doing so for several days with no issues. Now all of a sudden today when he attempts to join my listen server he gets the "server is not responding error".

I have the proper ports forwarded:
7707,7708, 7717, 28852, 8075, 20560

I downloaded port checker to verify the ports are still open, and they are.

How might we go about trouble shooting this? Over internet connection

Lan or Internet?

you have a different IP address for each an internal and an external

Lan will use the internal and it will look something like this 192.168.0.3 you can check on your routers attached hardware to see what the number is if you need it, although it should just allow you to connect on the Lan section of the server browser.

Your Internet IP address changes on a regular basis if you haven't specifically set it to be a Static ip address. visit www.whatismyip.com everytime you want to set up a game just in case the number has changed.

Does it matter if the IP changes as long as its a listen server?I was under the impression When its listen its just connecting to whatever th current settings are it shouldn't matter I thought.

Anyways connecting through internet not lan. The IP is static and I he is having no issues connecting to my minecraft server.

In that case I'd say check your router. make sure that the router is redirecting him to the machine that actually has the KF listen server running and not another machine on your network.
