Default Another TWI Interview - plus screenshots

A little extra from the last week of PR blitzing... old friends over at Absolute Games in Russia did an interview with John Gibson a few days ago - and that interview is now live on their website - click HERE to get to it. Now, the interview IS in Russian, which may make it hard for some of us to read - but, tucked away in there are a couple of new screenshots, so head on over and take a look!

could anyone who actually speaks Russian give a summary of the article, or anything new said in it? I don't quite trust Google translate

I don't see the new screenshots .... where are they?

Nice interview and good publicity! Not much new info for us, but it's clear that RO is a big deal in Russia.

Yeah, it's a **** translation, but it'll still give you a pretty good idea of what's going on.

that German character model is very nice. A really big improvement over the early models we saw.

If the translation is not wrong, 4 weapon unlocks, is that right?

Its a shame on their comments there are some negativisms like:

I fear another anti-Soviet terry a la Enemy at the gate with terrible commissioners, detachments and other elements of propaganda.
I think you must explain better your approach of this in other interviews.

this one isn't new?

oh ffs red x'd, go here http://www.ag.ru/screenshots/red_orc...lingrad/373836

from my initial observations, it's steiner with 3 mp40s (stock out) + 2 kar98s, though the guy's rifle on the far right looks funny..

edit: #2 - http://www.ag.ru/screenshots/red_orc...lingrad/373833

it's the POW! HAHA screenshot from a different angle :P

If I read it correctly, to date there are only for FULL unlocks. (MKb42, AVT, and semi-auto sniper rifles).

There are some other 'unlocks' in the standard classes. To quote from the google translation: "Sniper gets better optics, machine gunner - "trunk", which is less heated, submachine - increased store. Physical condition also matters. An experienced soldier, weapons are usually cleaner, newer, hence, its combat performance a little better. "

Nice interview! a thing I'd like to clarify, Visual damage are the soldiers: the article is said to be real so immerse the player in battle here too ... but what I'd like to have also the signs of bullets when we hit, the blindfold full of blood ... or something like the game Vietcong ...

at least they look like expanded views of two screens that were released a little while back
The first screen is not really new, look that, dating of November 2010:

The similarities are very strange...

Quick recap:

Lots of talk about the company and the first mod, they broke even after 5 days of sales.

16-32-64 player maps which adjust for the amount of players playing, so if theres 16 people then some floors of a building wont be available.

so far 4 unlocks (avt, mkb, semi-auto sniper rifles), and various tweaks for classes, better barrels for MGs so they dont overheat as fast, better magazines for assault.

Battlefield comission, if youre not high enough rank but played very well youll get access to better weaponry in the next round.

NO CONSOLES (yet?) since the sexbox and PS3 cant handle it.

Very specific anatomy: different damage if bullet went through or is still loded within you, all vital organs and bones mapped out. Also applies to tanks with the breaks, transmission, ammunition... etc.

Easy to use cover system (i think theyre implying it works like gears of war but first person view - the way u control it with ease)

Enjoy.
