Hey people,
I'm playin KF since the release and read a lot of threads here in the forum about balancing different classes/perks, the weapons and how increasing the perk level is possible. I played most of my time the medic and here are my ideas how to switch this really nice class to a (- in my opinion -) better class. Actually the medic is the guy with the best armor and runs faster than all other classes. But that's not all. He can carry next to his medic gun an x-bow (or x-bow and katana). I know actually there are some beta balancing updates including x-bow changes. What I want is that the medic is really a medic and not a tank like it is now. 1. Perk level 6 you have these stats: 200% faster syringe recharge 75% more potent injections 75% less damage from bloat bile 25% faster movement speed 100% larger mp7m clip 75% better body armor 70% discount on body armor 97% discount on mp7m x/15 blocks My changes: (why? you will see later) 175% faster syringe recharge 70% more potent injections 65% less damage from bloat bile 25% faster movement speed 100% larger mp7m clip 55% better armor 10% better full body armor 55% discount on body armor x/10 (maybe x/12 blocks) Reduce the portable weight of the medic! A medic is a specialist for healing team mates and not in carrying x-bows or fighting melee with the katana. 2. Give medic (and berserker, too) another armor system! I like it to start with body armor as berserker and medic (as firebug I don't understand why he got it and e.g. the ss not..), but: do you really need 100 of it? I would like to have some changes here. Actually there is one kind of armor - body armor. Split it into 2 different armor types (e.g. armor and body armor with helmet [or full body armor or something else.. my English isn't really good]. and no I'm not a CS gamer) so that firebug, berserker and medic will start with 50 body armor in level 5. Level 6 the medic gets 100 body armor if he spawns and has his 55% armor buff. 3. Give the armor a weight! Body armor isn't really light like it is now. E.g.: body armor: 2 blocks, helmet: 1 block. But why I want to reduce the better body armor buff? The other point is I would like to give the medic a special body armor. Since perk level 6 you are really good, you got another icon over your had and a lot of us players hope there will come another perk level. My idea is: if the medic has buyed the full body armor (100 armor), he will get once per buying/repairing a bonus on his armor (on level 6 e.g. 10% = 110). 4. The future of our medic? Lilke I said I would like to have more perk levels (NOT lv7 = 200k, lv8 = 400k!). We don't have to increase every perk bonus every perk level! What does that mean? In medic level 6 are following boni the maximum: 25% faster movement speed 100% larger mp7m clip So there are only 6 other boni which could be increased (3 - 10%). Btw this perk system isn't only transferable on the medic.. Hope you like my ideas and sorry for my English mistakes.
