Default Killing Floor Update Released

We have just released an update for Killing Floor. This update addresses many exploits found in the core levels provided with the game. As an added benefit it also includes example player and weapon rigs for modders to make use of, as well as an expanded trader array so modders can add their own equipment to the list!

This update brings KF to version 1013 and requires that all servers update before you will be able to connect to them.

Will there be a fix for spawning later on? The game always lags whenever anything spawns and the specimen seem to spawn in clear sight. Is that how it's meant to be?

Default No more Body Armor for lvl6 Firebug?

Firebug used to spawn with the flamethrower and body armor at lvl6. Bug or planned change?

Anyone else notice this as well?

We are looking into it. If it did happen, it wasn't supposed to (far as I know).

I was waiting for a "BIG" update when i saw my KF updating on steam but then i looked to the 441.3 MB and i got dissapointed , still i think it was a good thing to fix the exploits in the core maps.

anyone else lose all their perks today after the update? I've tried starting steam over and rebooting my PC, yet still all level zero, and when I try to access my perks from the game start page I get the "an unknown steam error prevented this" Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Try deleting your system folder, changing your download location and verifying cache in steam

thanks, just verified the cache, restarted steam again, and everything is happy in the zombie death fields again. I always forget about that - better write it down for the next update.

That hole in bio lab is awesome. Makes thee camping aspect in that room a lot harder.

Well I lost my "ping" tab in internet-game. So I can't view server's ping. It works on friend's list though.

I've tried resizing other tabs, trying to get ping tab appear, but no luck. Can anyone help me with it?

Not a fan of this update. The stuff for modders is cool, the hole in biotics lab is not.
