Ingame disconnection

I have a problem with my Killing Floor, each time I join a game it will disconnect me from the current game shortly after joining or changing my perk. If i can join the wave immediately I usually have around 30 seconds before I get disconnected, I realize I get disconnected because everybody keeps running straight and my bullets won't decrease. If i join as an spectator everybody will either stop moving or just moving forward and the same will happen.
How can I fix this?
