Ok so we go around and kill zombies, I make $700 in one round. Then when the last zombie dies and the trader opens doors, I have $900. (All hypothetical)
My question is this: Where does this extra money at the end of the round come from? Is it always the same amount? Does it vary on the amount of headshots or 'specific' kills for your class? WHAT'S THE DEAL ![]()

Its a bonus for surviving the wave, i think.

Yea you get some random amount of money for surviving the wave. I dont know how much it is exactly or how does it vary, but anyway.

I've been told that round bonus is determined at the start of the round based on number of players (and thus number of specimen that will spawn in the round). At the end of the round as long as at least one team member survive, the round bonus is given out to the team, divided evenly amoung the survivors.
So if six people start a round and only a medic survive at the end, he will get a huge six people round bonus awarded to himself. I'm not certain though and it may just be a fixed amount per person, and if you die you team just misses out that amount. Worth testing though. Last edited by Temstar; 03-30-2010 at 09:19 PM. |

I've experimented with this a bit. What Temstar said is correct. I don't know the exact formula, nor will I bother to figure it out, but we all start with an amount beginning a wave.
If there's more people, the bonus per head surviving is still the same, assuming all survive. If at least one dies, that person's bonus is split among the survivors, adding to their respective bonuses, And as each wave passes by, the bonus for surviving gets bigger. Also, this is just a theory, but I think that there's also a bonus for how many CONSECUTIVE waves you survive. |
