New to HOS

Hello guys, i had recently found out information about HOS and became very interested after seeing some of the videos and reading some of the information.

Looking around the forums i found a bug section and other related forums but i could not find anything like a demo or beta client, can anybody help?

no nothing yet, the forum is setup for future use, but at this time there are no demo's or beta's available to the public yet.

I almost definitely speak for all of us in saying the BEST money you can spend on a game TODAY is the original Red Orchestra: Ostfront. For only 9.99 on Steam, you can get a jump on the overall feel and gameplay. I really can't believe the pace and feel of HoS will be radically different, and there's no time like the present to get into this great community of players!

Yes we are all patiently (more or less) waiting on RO:HoS, but there's still PLENTY of great action to be had with RO and Darkest Hour (a free full-conversion mod for RO, also available through Steam.)

Yes, buy the original. After all, I am sure a portion of that money goes towards the continual development of HoS. I bought 3 copies.

I tend to only play games which are new, because of their graphical quality, so i probably wont play the older version.

Also, i did not want to know about the gameplay, only if there was a beta available, i know there is not.

Suit yourself, but the UE2.5 engine is a really remarkable thing, whether or not it's 4 years old. If that's your reasoning for not spending 10 bucks on an awesome game, you are truly selling the game and the engine WAY WAY short.

To Bluecewe, I have to second Private Who on this, you simply dismiss the game's value (RO) because it's not "new"? with the latest/greatest graphics? I've never, in many years of gaming, received as many hours of enjoyment and felt that I've received many, many times my initial $ back, as with RO. Oh well. TWB* Slowbull
