What would be the difference? In ROOST people lose their limbs too. I'm just saying I'd like to see less instant and more painful deaths, like real life. When a guy loses his leg, he usually stays alive and aware for some time until he bleeds out. They could implement this slow bleed out, but not slow like a minute or more, but just a few seconds.

Another thing I'd like to add is a better effect whenever we take a non-lethal shot. It's quite weird to get hit in the hand and automatically pull our pistol or our grenade as if we hadn't being shot in the hand at all. Also, we are completely able to normally return fire even if we got our both arms wounded. When we get shot in real life, if think we get a bit shocked, you know. Imagine yourself watching your finger being topped off, its really shocking! Perhaps some animation like this(first seconds) could be nice, using our own bandages instead of a friend's one:

YouTube - Brothers In Arms - Earned in Blood Mission 9 Teil 1 [German]

Same thing should happen when we get hit in the leg or in the arm, each with its own animation, not necessarly throw us to the ground, but temporarly disabling us until we bandage.

I'd say it be pretty good to get thrown on the ground when hit in the legs, maybe not for the hand thing but at for feet and legs it's a must have.

I like the idea of when getting hit in an area having to bandage it before you can continue fighting - it could be implemented like the changing MG barrel action (but thats not really necessary, you can still keep shooting your MG like a tard with a worn out barrel)

I remember using bandages in early DOD I thought that was a pretty cool feature, but it was removed and I was still pressing Z or what ever key for ages after that... haha.. did OS Front have bandages in it at one stage too?
