Behold your problems are fixed just follow this walktrough to salvation (lol I nearly typed salivation).

Go to your music folder

And copy everything except this files into a different folder (so you can listen to it anyways

)

After this you will have music in the menu but NOT ingame, trust me it works. If not yo are a CODDER for LIFE

With copy I meant put them out of the folder

I have to admit it doesn't work on all maps some play the menu music. So my idea is kinda crap :'(

Thanks Kettch, works perfect. Thanks for taking the initiative. I think the only one you need is the "eastern front" ogg the other 2 are the old mod menu music probably just put in there for nostalga.

No spyware (at least not when I had it a few weeks ago). Its not a "freeware" aka "shareware" that wants you to trick into anything. Its just an open source program.

Sourceforge is an open source set-up. It's highly unlikely to contain spyware. I have it installed (though never use it frequently) and none of the spyware and virus-checkers I have, have picked it up.

Yeah I've noticed that too but I have the answer. What you need to do is delete ALL the oggs except for the "RO_Eastern_Front.ogg" Then rename RO_Eastern_Front.ogg to "RO_Eastern_FrontZZtop.ogg" (or whatever you want to call it). Then go into your User ini file and locate the line that says MenuSong=RO_Eastern_front.ogg and change it to MenuSong=RO_Eastern_FrontZZtop.ogg

[ROInterface.ROMainMenu]
MenuSong=RO_Eastern_FrontZZtop.ogg
AcceptedEULA=True
