Machete/gorefast

Has anyone else noticed that the machete can take down gorefasts in one hit with a power strike even on hard? (haven't tried it on suicidal)

Correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't done any major experimentation but it seemed like I was one shotting them with the machete's power strike.
