Default importing a custom texture

OK well I'm trying to import a texture into myLevel, so of course i import go through that jazz, but then it needs to be applied and the level and the level saved for it to store itself in the myLevel package, well how am I supposed to use it if I can not access it, am I missing something elementary?

um i think you are missing something elementary..
if when its imported you add it to the myLevel package, it is now in your map, so go to textures and (i think its map folder) and you will find the mylevel package, open that up and your tex should be there for you

select it and use it as you need

its just that i think the texture is in the map not in the tex folders...

what did you import? is it a tga? dimensions are powers of 2?

once it is imported I don't believe that it shows up in the myLevel package until the level is saved. I did figure out how it works though, I just can't remember what i did
