LOL not to be mean killer but that uses some common sense why would they make a beta of Killing Floor when Killing Floor is out. They are probably looking for exploits for the next awesome update.

Tripwire has always run 2 build of it's games out of steam, one being a beta build one being the official retail. This is so any changes to the game can be tested against steam compatability. So when you see develpers or testers playing the beta build they are just playing the next build of KF (could be small update, could be a big one! Who knows, well I do, and the testers, and the devs, and my mother too... but you don't!)
