Default Random Freezes

I have a problem where after killing approximately 5-6 specimens, the game will stop working. Mainly, the textures start rendering incorrectly causing light green blocks all over the place, after which it crashes. Ive attached my log file. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Your log file is only partially there. Can you paste the text from the crash window that pops up?

Try switching to Direct 3d in video options, and if that doesnt work, turn down detail to low, see how that goes.

System specs would also be helpful.

Forgot about the checkboxes below the graphics settings when I was setting them to low. I reset everything to high and then disabled most of the checkboxes and it started working.
