Experiencing a weird bug that I used to get in the mod, one which hindered my playing and stopped me playing eventually. I frequently find my forward (w) key acting as if it is constantly depressed. Running forward all the time, tank throttle constantly maxed, turret raising etc. Not sure what causes it. Reconnecting fixes it until it happens again.

Any ideas? I love this game and want to play but this bug is a big thorn in my side. Thanks,

You might have a dodgy W key on your keyboard

This would happen with me and tanks until I replaced my router. Turns out I didn't have all the needed ports open, or something.

Can't imagine how that would make a difference. Not using a router anyway, plugged directly into the modem...

Do you have a joystick connected?
It could be that callibration isn't that good at the moment. If you do have one connected try disconnecting it.

P.S. I'm not even entirely sure if joysticks are supported so consider this a shot in the dark

I sometimes get the same problem with various games; My problem was a joystick connected to the computer, and it was on my shelf next to the computer, and the handle was twisted forwards by someone propably trying to take a book from the shelf etc..

If you have a joystick, just take the wire off your computer when not using it, that should help.
