It's pretty simple in gameplay, I think, but it looks good, and as an American it's neat to play in a world that looks so familiar (Europeans have been experiencing this with every WWII title, but it's new to me).

Plus napalm bombing runs!

maybe your all more die hard rts fans than myself but this is a superb game. I love not having to micro manage resources etc and can concentrate on blowing **** up (the fun bit in any rts lets be honest). I have played the battle for middle earths (which have very simple resources) and still found it frustrating when all you get is bum rushed in the first 30 seconds to destroy your farms (yes i am a noob :P).

This actually rewards using a units strengths and weaknesses and tactical use of terrain plus the multiplayer is an interesting take on the genre allowing 1 person to control just tanks or air support etc making for proper team play.

Personally i recommend this very highly especially to the more casual rts player or even fps player.

I seriously fail to understand what is so simple about this game. Other than that sides don't differ really. Different unit rosters can be easily modded.

All units have atleast 3 sometimes more counters from simple paper rock scissors scheme thats more than yuor average c&c generals offers.

Added that effectiveness of each counter is situation specific, ie ground, direction of attack, time and stealh play huge impact...in other words tactics&strategy.

I was in the closed beta and open beta and played the game non stop, I loved it. Not going to buy it though, I'm pretty sure I've "played the game out".

Sadly thats how I felt after playing the Demo. Perhaps the full game a more well rounded feel. Yeah blowing up stuff is nice , but I can play "Asteroids" and do that.

Same here. Pretty pictures is nice, but in the end it just got stale after 3 or so games.
