Where do maps that you DL from servers go to
Where do they go to? I want to know so i can practice them offline.

They go in the cache folder. The cache folder is cleared out after I think 30 days by default. You can manually extract the files from cache and drop them in normal RO folders to keep them forever.

how do i tell witch ones are maps? They are all UXX files.

There is a text file in there that lists what file is actually what. Go to that text file and rename things to what the cache file says they are, then drop the maps in the map folders and so on.

Bloodspitter, your link doesn't load.
But I guess you were linking to something about the UT2004 Cache Extractor? I could get it to work with the mod...never tried with retail, though, but it should work anyways I think.

UTCacheExtractor is a good utility. Run it and answer "No" and "Ok" then point it to the Red Orchestra folder. It will bring up all maps and associated packages. You may have to put the extracted maps from the Red Orchestra folder into your maps folder, but it will take care of all of the other files.
You can also change the 30 day limit of your cache by changing it in your RO.ini file. Mine is set for 365 days.
