Hi there.
This is probably not the first thread on the issue, but my FPS is painfully low, typically between 10 and 20, and the game stutters very badly when I go around a corner or enter buildings (Which is normal, i suppose, to that extent?) I've tried everything I've found in the forum, but switching the Direct 3d didn't help and neither did playing around with the cache (Which actually made things worse, I think). My System is a AMD Athlon 3200 with 1.5 gig RAM and an ATI Radeon 1950 with 512 MB (latest drivers). Not really high-end but other 1st Person Shooters like Half-Life 2 run just fine - and in Red Orchestra, even playing 640x480 and lowest detail settings leads to stuttering and bad FPS. So can anybody help me? |

I am going to assume you ment the ATI X1950.
If that is the case then you should have no problems running red orchestra. Sounds like you might have a bad driver issue with the graphics card. Make sure you do a clean install (uninstall, run a program like Crap Cleaner or Nasty file remover to remove drivers after uinstall, install latest drivers) of the latest ATI graphics drivers for your card. Also make sure to defrag your hard drive, and use the steam defrag option on RO:O as well. Fragged game data can cause stutters.

Something in the way your pc is set up is the problem because yours specs should do fine in RO.
Can always check out this guide which covers a lot of fundamentals if you are looking for more ideas on what to try fixing. http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html Good luck and welcome to RO. |
