You're very right, but building up isn't useless if you want to jump over very large holes/debree or other crap.

And most trenches were wider than you might think.
I can only jump from stance when I use my toes.
You don't really notice that you bend your knees a little, but you also use your torso and your abdominals to jump.
In fact, you almost use you whole body to use it as some sort of spring, giving your muscles a longer way to spread it's kinetic energy.
When the tension is gone you jump.

Jumping is actually a very intensive movement.

Especially if you want to jump over 6/7-ft trenches.

That can be changed very easily, just by adding some pieces of UScript.
