I can't see bullet wounds anymore! - What has happened?

Hello,

as I played Red Orchestra for the very first time I saw bullet wounds at the bodys of the soldiers after I hit them with my gun.
But then I played at servers which used custom maps and custum skins and now I don't see these bullet wounds anymore, only granates and bombs cause visible damage on the bodys. If I hit a soldier with a gun, I see a blood splash only.
Were the bullet wounds just a figment of my imagination?
Or is my game really changed?

Please help me! Do you see bullet wounds at the bodies of soldiers, after you hit them with a gun/machine gun?

PS: I'm using the US version of Red Orchestra. Full gore is activated.
