[Error] Max. Audio channel setting not saving

I can't change the max. channel audio setting ... the default value is 32 and every time I change it (to whatever), it's set back to default after leaving the settings menu.
But my sound card should support more than 32 channels (and I can set more channels in other games, e.g. Empire Total War).

My soundcard is an Auzentech X-Fi Forte, latest drivers (1.21 I think).

Addition: my Post Processering Presets are not saved either ... every time I restart my game it's set back to "normal" ...

Audio channel thing happens for me too. Platinum Xfi.

for me it changed someday from 32 chnnels to 16 channels and i cant get it work with 32 anymore.
i have a audigy 2

Go to Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config, open RoEngine.ini, seek for MaxChannels, if found MaxChannels=16 change to MaxChannels=32.
