Way too early if you ask me. There are still some bugs to be fixed in all parts of the game..

Yea, this is a huge mistake on Tripwire's behalf. After the shaky launch of RO2, they should know better. RISING STORM NEEDS TO BE POLISHED MORE BEFORE RELEASE.

Why there are still mayor bugs in the game, do you want it to take the steps of ro 2? i mean the squad choosing menu is still bugged, there are still a lot of animation and clipping errors why? as you said you are indipendent and can choose the date of release and you sell it already as beta wich is fine, but this move i cant understand...

I was definitely expecting a release closer to late July.

Well that was quick. Here's hoping for a smooth launch. I figured there was more tweaking , bug fixes, and balance changes before the release but I can also understand the need for a paycheck.

some textures really need a overhauled, esp stuff like concrete and ground or make it possible (if it's already I'd be surprised noone has made a tex mod yet) for the community to do some highres tex like in skyrim! I'm playing on ultra, 1920x1080 dunno why the screenshot reso is reduced. You'll put your head against that concrete (screenshot #2,4)/ground(#1,3)/wall for the next X00 hours and they look like placeholder while other stuff is looking pretty good
(and the short command system is kinda confusing on Guada #5)

Here we goooooo again..... They just lost my sale. Way too early people. There is some serious polish needing to be done to RS before release.

How will it be installed when released?

Will it automatically be installed as a "patch" for RO2, or will the RS beta just be converted to the real deal?

I ask because for some reason I get a god awful download rate with steam

It will "patch" into the current RO 2 build.

Any pre-download possible to profit of the game on release for people not having super high speed downloads ? please .

I don't want to wait a full day and probably night to download RS and update RO2, it will probably be a very big download

Maybe it will be possible to move the files from the beta into the RO2 folder and just use steam to verify files integrity to download new content and avoid the full download of everything

Will need to know the exact folders structures to do this of course, especially the RS one, if they are in separate folders or merged into the same folders etc.

Well anything that will make me avoid countless hours of download will be welcome.

Thanks and good luck with RS release.

At least a month too soon if you ask me. I still haven't seen the offline stuttering fixed, and that's the biggest issue I have with the game. Lowering my resolution to something really low is the only thing that actually prevents it from happening. At least it still doesn't prevent me from enjoying the online gameplay.
