Once upon a time, we promised that we'd set aside some money from the digital sales of Ash Harding for a charitable cause - so here it is:
"Hot on the heels of military gaming charity Operation Supply Drop’s announcement of what should be the nation’s largest Veteran’s Day video gaming event, the “8-Bit Salute to Veterans”, Tripwire Interactive fires the first salvo as the first organization to step up pledge a major contribution in support of the November 10th event and the soldiers. The 8-Bit Salute to Veterans is a countrywide event occurring Saturday, November 10 th, involving a variety of organizations throwing parties in DC, LA, NYC, Dallas, and Chicago to raise donations for the charity and general awareness in gamers about Veteran’s Day." For those that don't know, Operation Supply Drop is a charity run by CPT Steve "Shanghai Six" Machuga, sending care packages to troops deployed in hot zones around the world. Take a look at the website for the details. We felt that this would be a worthwhile target to keep our promise on! |

That's a very honorable cause. Another great reason to support TWI.
