Ssshh! If you post my secrets, they'll all know!

What's next, you'll reveal you can't shoot through stacks of pallets, rounds can penetrate most walls and boarded-up windows, and that siDDa is actually powered by computer chips?

Yep, semi-autos are the way to start, you'll inevitably wind up Rifleman a lot, keep it up until soon enough you'll be that behind-the-lines Marksman hitting their spawn from across the Station map. Having a couple hundred hours down and still taking assault positions are for muppet-armed hopeless people like me.

Yeah, I'm not the best with text-based communications. Probably should have slapped some tongue-poking-out emoticon to imply rhetoricalness*.

* That's actually the correct noun. Wow. I had no idea.

Though I still think that's a problem with the Station map, but that's for another topic another day.

I hope that you can provide me some tips!

1.When do i need to hold my breath in RO2 ? Only with rifle and all the time or only at long range or when aiming at a common hiding spot.
2/When i play marksman, Sometimes it looks like the bullet is going straight trough an enemy.. Do i need to aim above the enemy due to wind or distance?
3.enemy players see me while i can't see them? Is this because i have less excperience or are there some tips for this.

Thanks in advance!
First, turn off Bloom and Motion Blur. You will be able to see enemy movements better for farther distance.
For mid to long range, always use hold breath for the extra zoom unless if you want to be a badass (for which I will show respect).

There is no bullet drop or wind effect in this game, and if you miss the body, you will just make him bleed or inconvenience him. But you will get a kill assist if someone else kills him.

Again, turn off bloom and motion blur to see the enemy better. And look all across the horizon. Some times, he can be near you but you just don't know because some gun sounds are very muffled.

Oh...When does it start affecting tragectory? I've had no issues with hitting a target at almost 200 meters away with no hop up adjustment.

You wont notice much of a difference at 200 metres, the bullet only drops around an inch, 300 metres is where it's much more noticable.

I'm assuming that's sniper distance...or I just suck at being a rifleman. Which wouldn't surprise me.

Not exactly easy with sniper either. (getting 300mtr of clear field ito begin with!) Makes me wonder what distance the longest shot has been pulled off at?

2,475 m (2,707 yd) in Afghanistan, 2009. A British sniper, Corporal of Horse Craig Harrison, shot 2 Taliban machinegunners in 2 consecutive shots.

Bullet drop "starts affecting trajectory" as soon as it leaves the barrel. It's just that rifle bullets travel very fast (800 meters/second) and gravity is rather less than that (9.8 m/s). Once you count in that the sights are already zeroed for 100 meters, even the aerodynamics-ignoring napkin math starts to look pretty insignificant.

The sight adjustment feature gives you an easy way to tell what bullet drop is like - click it from 100m to 200m and voila, now you see how much you'd have to have held over the target.

Not to mention the base visual acuity differences between the average eyeball and the average computer monitor. There's no shortage of accounts of WW2 marksmen landing consistent first round hits with iron sights at 300 meters and upwards. (Way upwards, if you believe some of the more "impressive" stories)

In RO2, you're lucky to even spot a target at that range, much less hit them without just flinging ammo in their direction.
