How to replace siren scream?

Hi I'm new to the forum and I'm sure this topic has come up a bunch. Can anyone refer me to how I can get this done (threads, FAQ, etc.)? I remember one of the special events replaced the siren scream to something not so disturbing and rather mellow, and I liked the game a lot more for that. I'm often playing with others in the house so I'd prefer not having to listen to that kind of screaming.
