Default Close up bugs the hitbox?

This is a very common frustration for me, when playing.

One good example: i am using the 9mm as a Sharp Lv 6 and get 1-kill headshots on trash from distance, but when a trashzed, like a clot, gets too close, i many times have to headshot multiple times before i get a decap. This is very true also with gorefast!

Is this a bug? It makes me waste ammo and risk of getting harmed...for no apparent reason! I should be able to decap a trashzed from distance or close up at the same rate!

Have read from some other post that when a zed is too close, this can affect a weapons effectiveness? Like with the Xbow? Close up is supposed to mean that a zed is pushing the weapon back to your chest, so you are not supposed to use it effectively ( this is due to wanting to achieve some kind of realism? )?

Anyway, i consider this "close-up=less effective weapon" issue to be quite bothersome!
