Default Something wrong with the light shafts

so i can't turn my light shaft's on i can put them on in video options and then i save them and when i go back to the video options light shaft's has been turned off for some reason i have re installed the game and deleted config files

i'll bet you can force them to be on in the config file. (but i never looked for them before)

it's in there. two problems though. i'm still an hour away from my patch download finishing (which may change the config anyway) and two, i'm not having your problem. hard to test something that's already working. if i were you. i'd go in and see what yours is set to now. open your config, double click on the default engine, to open notepad. look in the systems settings editor, it should be the 12th line down. is it set to false?
p.s. deleting and reacquiring the config files, as you said you did, resets anything you do in the video options menu. avoid doing that for now.

yep you found the reason it was set to false i dont know why but i took that false off and typed True and saved it now it works just fine thank you so much
