In a few minutes, Killing Floor will be updating to remove the summer zeds. As always, the new map is here to stay.
Included with this update are several exploit fixes for the following maps: KF-Bedlam, KF-Evil-SantasLair, KF-Offices, KF-BioticsLab, KF-Abusementpark The summer zeds will await you until the next time the circus master opens the gates.

Exploit fixes for Abusement Park? Hot diggity I was just on that map and saw the two I know of were still working, here's to them disappearing after this update rolls out!
Even when ending an event TWI is still improving this game. Cant say I know many other developers like that

Since the update is out, or is going to be out soon, could someone either explain to me, or PM what was exploititive in the maps KF-Bedlam, KF-Evil-SantasLair, KF-Offices, KF-BioticsLab, and KF-Abusementpark? I know were not suppose to talk about them in the open, but since their getting repaired, I going to assume its ok?
I'll start it off by saying that Im pretty sure I know what the EvilSanta'sLair one is, as we all should know which one that is , and I think i remeber the issue that people had with the abusment park, especially if it dealt with those "smack the thing as hard as you can" games causing people to get out of map. As for office, maybe a pathing bug with patty when it comes to walking around the third floor to the roof, or getting stuck on the roof? As for biotics lab and bedlam, I dont even know what could be wrong with them. Anyone know?

Like any event in Killing Floor, after a while, you start to miss the old zeds. To say the least, The Summer Sideshow event was fun while it lasted. I can't wait for the Twisted Christmas Event this year, though!

The 1037 patch removed the Circus zeds, but it did not include any map updates. I think it's safe to say they were forgotten.
Also, I think the "News" message should be updated. It hasn't changed since January when the Xmas event ended.

Good news is that the Informative Scoreboard and Kill Messages Version 2 mutators are white-listed.

He said "will not be able to release it as an optional download." so that means its suppose to be in an official update. Not a optional update. The fact that they said it's not going to be a optional thing so it's suppose to be in the main patch. What I don't get is why haven't they released it with this patch today like they said when the event ends. Regardless of the delay, you would've think they'd at least let us know if there was a delay in that "patch" or whatever.

yeah it was a bit disappointing to hear this patch doesn't fix the exploit, We'll just have to see if they actually included this fix in the patch. A twi member please confirm if the fix was released or not released

No. But when the update came out today I loaded up the mutators in a solo game. I could select my perks, so that at least meant grey-list. The fact that the headshots I made during that game were saved to my permanent total after I exited the game means white-list.
It looks like the Moss12 and the Grenade Door message ones were as well. Hopefully we can get a post summarizing all the muts that were given white-list status. |
