Will there be unlocks?

I was reading around the internet that Exocet won't be making a Darkest Hour for RO2 due to Tripwire refusing any support unless his mod followed their rules, namely having unlocks and smaller maps.

Is this going to be the case for Rising Storm? Will there be unlocks?

"Refusing any support"? Errr... what?

There's a full SDK, all the tools - anyone can create just whatever they want with the tools. We don't put any restrictions on what people can create (apart from whatever we say in the EULA - and that certainly doesn't have any rules about unlocks!).

Probably. Internet is full of misinformation but that's why I came here to see. The moment I saw that I just imagined Rising Storm with prototypes and enemy kits and had to find out.

i heard the mod was cancelled.

No I heard their moving to the Swiss alps because the tripwire team has become excessively scared of zombies.

I have no idea where you got that from, but I can assure you I have not posted anything like that.

The Darkesthour team decided to go solo for our own reasons, yes I will say that we didn't think modding RO2 was the best for our team, but it was never because we thought TWI wouldn't offer us support.
