laggy walk glitch?

I'm good ping and all, but whenever I walk it lags and is so slow. Anyone know a solution?

You just need to rejoin the game. Open up the console (`) and type in "reconnect" and press enter. Reconnect doesn't need the quotes around it.

If that still doesn't work, restart KF. I know its a pain, but it happens sometimes.

I remember reading another post on the forum about this somewhere. The effect is known as 'rubber banding' and has to do with a bad connection to the server. Rejoining fixes it for me all the time.

I've gotten this bug as well. Too bad there's no better fix than reconnecting.

I've also gotten a bug sometimes where my whole perspective seems to be on a slant. It's actually a little dizzying walking around when it happens. Anyone else seen this?

when your walking, press and hold the tab button. Watch how your ping goes. When this happens to me, its usually because my ping will breifly (like less than a second) spike to 999 and then back to normal. Its that minor break that causes your character to "slow down"

If you don't want to rejoin then just bunnyhop everywhere. Jumping isn't affected by the slow walking and as long as nobody complains about you jumping everyone wins.

That usually happens after you die sometimes, and fixes itself by firing your pistol usually once or twice or some other weapon. It readjusts itself every time for me when that happens and I fire a weapon.
