Default Best 6-man HoE perk setups

Ive been pondering around thinking about what people would consider as a ideal perk setup for a 6-man group thats playing a map on HoE? The type of setup that when you join the server with this setup, you know that you have a fighting chance to win. Now, this is assuming that everyone who plays as a certain perk, knows how to play it, and is very good at playing their role. Also, all perks are level 6's and this setup would be something that works from beginning, to the 10th wave. Ill write out the various situations.

1) Best all around setup
2) Best setup for small, tight, and cramped maps (biotics lab, offices, crash)
3) Best setup for large, open maps (farm, mountionpass, suburbia?)
4) Personal favorite setup
5) Most interesting setup that you wouldn't mind trying out
6) Worse setup

I'll start it off

1. 1 medic, 1 sharp, 2 supports, 1 commando, 1 zerk
2. 1 medic, 1 sharp, 2 supports, 1 commando, 1 demo
3. 1 medic, 2 sharps, 1 support, 1 commando, 1 zerk
4. 1 medic, 2 sharps, 2 supports, 1 commando
5. 1 medic, 2 firebugs, 2 demos, 1 commando
6. Any setup that consists of only medics and zerks

I will say 1 player per class because I am tired of 2 or more players being the same class.

1) Sharp, Sharp, Support, Support, Demo, Commando
2) Sharp, Support, Support, Support, Demo, Commando
3) Sharp, 5x more of any class bar demo.
4) See 1
5) -
6) 6xDemo?

I have a love affair with sharps, and a personal dislike of pure medics. If everyone keeps an eye on each other, you can heal wounded players, and if zeds are handled correctly, you shouldn't need the medic armour, and medics tend to be worst at killing.

assuming you are playing with good players and offperk weapons aren't barred, it really doesn't matter. people have different proficiencies with different perks, it all comes down to the player behind it. i like teams with a variety of perks, stacking powerful perks like support or now sharp makes for a boring game.

I'm with you on this, give me a game with 1 of all perks, and I'm happy. Give me a demo that can take FPs and crowds of trash, a support that can help with the bigs and trash, a commando that cleans trash like they're meant to, a sharpie that handles the scrakes/sirens/husks like they're meant to, a firebug that can weaken up the trash (or replace this with a zerk that can hold off a side spawn lessening what goes to the main area) and a medic that can help keep people healthy, and knows when to throw the block to save someone's arse.

Though I dont like most of those meta-setups:

1) Sharp, Sharp, Demo, Support, Support, Support
2) Sharp, Sharp, Demo, Support, Support, Support
3) Sharp, Sharp, Sharp, Support, Support, Support
4) Sharp, Demo, Support, Commando, Firebug, Medic
5) -
6) Firebug, Firebug, Firebug, Firebug, Firebug, Firebug

(If the Sharp you play with is pro you need only one, a Demo and 4 Supports)

i'd go with the above - firepower over medics - Hoe is all about supports and to a lesser extent sharps. A demo is good to place pipes for stuff that breaks thou the point your trying to hold them off, and can take out the small stuff marching on it's why to your party (standing away from the group on maps like aperture and icebreaker)
Generally 2 sharps 4 supports is fine thou.

You must be playing some very, very boring matches, then.

Bot as boring as all medic/zerk matches. All we do is run run run, lol. Idk, but I would be interesting to see a match where everyone is the sam perk. All demo's, all commandos, all firebugs, etc. Of course, the all medic one would be tossed out since medics dont really have any strong offensive buffs and all zerks would be simply running around thewhole time. All FB would be interesting, because if everyone hits a FP with a level 6's FB's flames, then Im certain that he has to die pretty fast, right? All demolition squad would be "lods o smok".

Did all medic once on Westlondon HoE. We camped outside the church on the street. I was 'demo' medic with katana medgun m32 pipes, and everyone else had an assortment of offperk weapons. We did quite well.

really? Sounds kinda risky though, I mean, since HoE means that the zeds are at their top capability and stuff. I suppose if yo uhave people who know what their doing, no one panics, and everyone has a powerful weapon, then it is possible. How did the final wave go with patty? medicgun + xbow?

Myself and a few friends played Biotics lab with mostly demos once. I think we were on suicidal, and myself and all my friends went demo, and we had 1-2 poor randoms who were like "WHY ARE YOU ALL DEMO, GO SOMETHING ELSE"

It was so frickin' hilarious. I think we wiped like W8-9 because we were just laughing too much.

5. 6 Sharps. I've never seen it, and best I've seen was 3 Sharps in one game.
6. Dunno. Probably 6 FBs. Flames everywhere.

no, i finished the Hoe maps pretty quickly and then went back to messing about.
finishing 6 man hoe maps is the main point of this thread as i understand and that's how to do it, without running around for hours.

^^what this guy said. Of course we could do a all zerk or all medic squad, and they could get the job done, but it would be slow, and probably not as effeicent as what other squad setups could be like

FB won't be too bad, but you'll be taking out FP with your 9mm pistol. All demo is possibly the hardest all same perk team. Of course off perk weapons would be cheating
