Default Fps Drop -Mac

Hi
I recently bought Killing Floor.
the problem is when i play offline mode after some minutes i experience huge fps drop (2-3fps) and laggs and the specimens, and other players spinning(!)... the problem occurs some times when i play online and only restart helps, thats very annoying.
Please help me.
I wrote this first to the steam support , but they know no solution.

I have done all these basic steps:
reinstall steam, kf,
redownload steam kf,
defregment kf,
verify game cache,
ive tried several display options,
turned off firewall ,
looked for updates etc.

I have a Macbookpro i5 2,3ghz, intel hd 3000, 4gb ram; osx 10.6.8.

I suggest turning shadows off, it has seemed to help all my friends. However they weren't down to 2-3fps >.<

I have a Macbookpro i5 2,3ghz, intel hd 3000, 4gb ram; osx 10.6.8 , its more than enough for this game. And as i sad the game is running smoothly at 100fps normaly, than something happens and everything start to lag, and fps drops to very low.
Btw thanks for your attention. dub4life!

I'm having the same issue, it'll be running beautifully when suddenly the fps drops to unplayable low levels, haven't noticed if it's connected to welding or not though. interesting

i too would like an answer to this, it sounds exactly like the problem i'm having, running smooth then a sudden drastic fps drop.

its really strange why this topic keep ignored by the tripwire, maybe they will say something sometimes. I think this whole problem, and the ignoring is because that kf do not supports intel video cards, maybe...

I think you guys need to stop hacking at TWI for all the work they do. They have loads of sights of support to go through and on here, majority of the time, the community answers before they do. You found the solution so end it at that. If you would like a direct answer, PM them lol.

Hi. I actually read into my system performance using top, and I've heard this program can be unreliable but it has never before showed a near 100% usage on kernel task. Only while this game is running. It also never runs reliably with steam overlay. Steam updates recently have screwed around my other favorite game for which I admin servers (like this one): Nucleardawnthegame.com

I hope you'll file some bug reports with steam. They got to work fixing it when they had the right information. Not until then.
