Default Killing Floor Update Soon

We are putting together and update for Killing Floor that will fix 2 bugs and introduce an updated version of the map Abusement Park featuring the locations shown in the Summer Sideshow trailer. This will bring the gave to version number 1036 and is a required update for both clients and servers. We expect it to be ready in approximately: 3 hours

Once again, instructions for updating your servers can be found at the Tripwire Wiki: http://wiki.tripwireinteractive.com/...illingFloor%29

Anyone else having a problem updating their server?
I ran steam update, and there's also this "Game update" option I pressed but it keeps coming up with this error:
The update has not been installed. Could not copy patch file from ftp. Local Temp Path: ..\Temp\TC77854381426818630574160\TCA.Patches\kill ingfloor.zip FTP Path: /killingfloor/TCA.Patches/killingfloor.zip

I hope I don't need to reinstall again. Had to do that when the summer sideshow update released. ;_;
My server is with Hypernia, btw. 203.217.24.140

The update never comes out for the servers first. It's always game then server. I have to wait for ever to get an update going for my server.

Ok. It has been several hours since the clients updated. It is finally working.

I can't update my server either. It's hosted at ArtofWarCentral and their webadmin uses the old update tool.

What kind of supoprt is Killing floor providing for us users that have a dedicated server but cant get to the ocmmand line?

Why is it that some servers are updated and others aren't? Seriously I don't get it, I have run mine through the update process twenty times now and it still isn't patched. Kind of a WTF moment guys.

Because some people host there own servers so they can just download the STEAMCMD and update it. Also, some people's GSP updated there update tool relatively fast like mines so that's why our servers are updated. Contact your GSP and bug them about it since they're still using HLDS update tool.

I also use artofwarcentral myself and I noticed that they are slow in their own right. I knew I couldn't rely on them to do anything so I tried to find a workaround, which was simply copying over the new files manually into the server's FTP. I got it working, without artofwar's "24/7" support.

Tripwire needs to really rethink their strategy if they don't want to lose the server hosts... I just got my server running again after 4 days of coding yesterday and, if I didn't know any better, I would be stuck doing the same thing again with a fresh reinstall from this update. The good thing is, for me at least, is that more than half of the other dedicated Killing Floor servers seem to be incapacitated due to the onslaught in updates, perhaps permanently, making mines more popular than usual (as you can see in my signature).
