I was thinking of creating FF-Spartanovka, where the church would be moved somewhere else. So I copied the spartanovka files to "...\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Unpublished\CookedPC\Ma ps\Spartanovka_Cleared"
I appended _Cleared to each file. Then I started the SDK, and loaded the file TE-Spartanovka_Cleared.roe. I went to the level browser, and realized that it still uses the levels without the "_Cleared", located in my steam folder. So I wanted to replace the ART_Spartanovka by ART_Spartanovka_Cleared (and so on for the other files). However, when I click Level->Add Existing Level, it says "The requested operation cannot be performed on a cooked package". What can I do? Thanks! |

My guess.
Take TE-Spartanovka and save it as FF-Spartanovka in your mygames bladiblabla folder. Then take the non FF kismet out. Take all spawnvolumes and player starts out. Then add 2 spawnvolumes and spread playerstarts and Kismet for Firefight. Don't forget to set FF in the worldproperties and give FF roles. Build all and cook. |

I did not think it was ever possible to re-cook a cooked package.
Was never a problem until UE3 came out. The only thing I can think of it to try and force the cooked package to be a save package which essential makes a temp uncooked version via console command: http://forums.epicgames.com/archive/.../t-585462.html Last edited by LordGleedo; 07-07-2012 at 05:07 AM. |
