As a Canadian, it would do me an honour to support nationalist canadian fireworks day! It's time to cruise out of my igloo, grab a molson canadian, head over to time hortons and grab me some doughnuts, eh, and then launch really loud cardboard tubes in the air to watch them explode several dozen times and get stung by 100 million mosquito's and then ride my polar bear home. Hopefully I won't get pulled over by the Mounties and have to go into the punishment chamber, eh? Maybe sometime later I'll hike over to Russia and grab some vodka. If not I'll go say hi to Germany in the pub right next to Australia. I know Belgium will be brewing the beer and Scotland will be down at the end wasting himself.

Sounds like quite a wonderful time to me! Post here what you guys are doing for Canada day, eh? If you're not Canadian then feel free to salute Spain in their epic winning against Italy.

Prompted by that, I just watched 'One Last Shot' - man that was dark.

I was in Ottawa yesterday. Man was it crowded on the streets! The show in front of the parliament building played it a bit on the safe side musically, but the fireworks at night more than made up for it. It was epic!

I celebrated Canada Day with a short Cronenberg marathon. Scanners, Videodrome, Naked Lunch, The Fly, and then Eastern Promises.
