40-1 Classic Countdown server

Hello commrades!
40-1 clan is launching a new Classic CD server today and Im inviting you for opening. We are starting at 17.00 GMT/18.00 CET.
Server details:
[40-1] CLAN UK #3 CLASSIC COUNTDOWN
109.70.149.161:7777

We are starting with 24 slots but we consider extending slots number if there will be such need. Feedback welcomed.

That was fun. But you need to increase the timers. We're being forced to run straight to caps to avoid running out of time. If you want to go the long way, to flank the enemy and avoid being picked off by riflemen, you don't have the run speed or stamina to get it done. You might make it in the cap zone, but you don't have time to hunt down the defenders. When most of your team gets hit, following the straight line, it's over. I found myself running through cap zones trying to find defenders while helplessly watching the timer run out. knowing you're the last guy and have to kill them to win, sux.

@ hekuball. I dont think that custom maps support CD atm but we have custom maps running on our Territory servers

Are you gonna turn Punkbuster on at some point?

I avoid non punkbuster servers as a loathe cheaters.

I have been playing at this server. Its really the best one around in my opinion. I really love this custom, big city map (name). Only bad thing is that the timelimit on some servers should be increased a little bit (40 minutes is good imo ).

Thats funny, I meant it as a general observation as Ive never seen any of your servers running custom maps but obviously I've missed something.

I'm so happy to hear this 40-1 is one of my favourite servers and I allways wanted a popular 'only Countdown server'. Really great!

I enebled pb on all 3 servers and hopefully we wont get any lags.
@Cyper - yes that means murder
We will try to populate the cd server in evening hours so help us and join in even if its not full
