England were ran ragged, and had they won on penalties it would have been an injustice (not to mention the Germans would have hurt them badly in the next game) so it's for the best.
England simply dont have enough decent players, and certainly no quality players, so they did better than can be expected in tis tournament to remain unbeaten in normal time.

Ah yes I knew I wasn't the only one. Everybody raves about how beautiful it is and how much skill it takes to play like them. It just bores me to tears. If I was a Spain supporter I'd be tearing my hair out everytime they make way too many passes and try to walk it in the net. SHHHHHHHOOOT!

As for this tournament they haven't looked that impressive. They had an easy group, they had a weak team in France to get by... and they looked bored out there to be honest. Tippy tappy, no urgency... that's why I'd be tearing my hair out. And now if Portugal press them I think Spain might get bounced.

I have to admit that while I'd been a staunch supporter of Germs ever since I'd seen their game vs. UK back in 2010, what Italy gave us in their quarter-final really put me on the fence.
I was really split between Italy and Germany for this game and I had been hoping it would be so much better than it was. Just not the same Germany there on the pitch. Where the hell were they? A well-deserved win for Italy and a poor performance for Germany tonight.
Hope Italy wins the cup.
