Cant find the "KF-testmap6p" map

So I did some google searching and some forums searching, and the old links for the download, just aint working. The most common one, was a mediafire link, but when I downloaded this map, it must have been such an old version because when I started the map, fleshpounds looked like gorefasts, gorefasts looked like FP's. And crawlers looked liked scrakes. It was funny really, but when I went to take a picture (by hitting F12), it would restart the map.


Anyhow, back on topic, is there a newer or more current link that is working for the killing floor testmap6p? If not, could someone kindly repost the file on some hosting site, or maybe even just email me the file if its small enough. Thank you

Off topic,

But how do you play custom maps in solo? (I have problem finding out how to, but I would not be surprised if it takes about 3 seconds to do)

Get any .rom file, place it in your maps folder. Start up KF, go to solo and just choose the map.

Any maps that are downloaded while connecting to a server are stored in a cache folder. You can use a program to extract them into your maps folder(much easier than the first way).

ok, thank you for the links. The first link is the map that Im used to, but the second link isnt to bad either. Its kind of different though, but either way, I appreaciate the help

What program do I need to extract the cache files? I have the SDK installed if that makes a difference.

Not sure if were allowed to post links, but this site has the program that I use. Its free, easy, and simple to understand. Once you download it, just open it up, click and drag your file that you want to extract into the program, give it a second to read it. Once you've done that, it should have the correct file that you wanted.

From there, just put the file in its correct place and bam, your done.

Well the program i have is strictly for KF. it lists every file that has been downloaded. All you have to do is select the files and click extract. Im not sure whats it called, but when i get on my PC, ill try to find it for you guys.

no problem. I checked out the other guy's link, and it looks like his is better suited for KF. My program is more universal, but you just need to know where your trying to put the file in. Now that you have the program, you can download any file thats rar or compressed, and easily convert it into the map file, so enjoy DLing those custom maps and stuff
