I'm using XP, and this is a shame for me. The KFL mod for KF runs best on XP, but i hope this support drop doesn't have an effect on me.

I've heard of people sticking with SP2 rather than patch up to 3, but 1? Is that a large demographic?

They are dropping it because Microsoft is dropping support for SP1 on Oct 10th.

i have win7 64bit it runs also well the KFL mod for KF runs best on XP but it also wroks well at win7 i am playing it!

Anyone running and XP machine on SP1 is just asking for a compromised system. Just apply the service packs and you'll at least be able to worry marginally less about the security exploits you are exposed to.
