I'm running my dedicated home server 'OzzieMutate' with the Doom3KF mut and ServerPerks. I have noticed a few of the custom maps include System\KFChaingunTurret.u in the archive.
Now, I was able to add the Doom3 sentry drone to the trader with these two lines in System\ServerPerks.ini: at the bottom of the file: WeaponCategories=Special in amongst all the Trader definitions: TraderInventory=7:Doom3KFBeta4.SentryGunPickup TraderInventory=7:KFChainGunTurret.ChainGunTurretP ickup I knew what to write in the second last line because it is explained in the Doom3KF thread, but I can't find the thread for the KFChainGunTurret. So that last line is just bloody guessing. :p What is the correct way to add the ChainGunTurret to the trader when using ServerPerks? Thanks for your attention. :) |

actually it's not supposed to be used in trader, it is a placeable actor for maps.

That's just rude.

The reason KFChaingunTurret.u is included with maps is because like ro sauce said, it is a placeable actor for maps. It's needed to so the map can function because the chaingun is used somewhere on that specific map. It's not a weapon you can buy.
I'm pretty sure you don't need it in your server packages either. If the map requires it, then it will download it if the player doesn't have it when they go to play the map. |
